Udio Review: Is It Worth Paying For in 2026?

AI Music Rank may earn a commission when you purchase through links on this page. This does not change our comparison or the price you pay.

Udio remains one of the most capable AI music workspaces, but a paid recommendation must start with its current limitation: Udio says downloading audio, video and stems is disabled.

What Udio costs

Udio’s official billing help uses $10 per month for Standard and $30 per month for Pro. Standard currently includes up to 2,400 monthly credits; Pro includes up to 6,000.

What paying unlocks

The reason to wait

If your definition of “finished” includes downloading a file, the restriction can make a paid plan unsuitable. Do not subscribe assuming the old export workflow still exists.

Who should still consider it?

Udio can still make sense for creators who want to experiment inside the platform and value its editing tools more than immediate export. A seven-day Standard trial is available to eligible accounts, although trial limits apply.
